Hello world!

82 Carlebach songs mapped to Hallel with community-voted rankings, transposable chord charts, and occasion filtering. Free. No subscription. Built by the Jewish music community.
Every song ships with a full chord chart — simple view or lead sheet with chords above transliterated lyrics. Transpose to any key in one tap.
Tehillim 113 through 118, with chapter 118 broken into named sub-sections: Hodu, Min HaMeitzar, Pitchu Li, Even Ma'asu, Ana Hashem, and Keil Hashem.
Select Rosh Chodesh, Sukkot, Chanukah, Pesach, or any holiday. NiggunMap auto-switches between Full and Half Hallel and surfaces the songs tagged for that occasion.
The community decides which niggun fits best at each section. Upvote, downvote, and see the rankings shift in real time. No gatekeepers, no editorial board. Pure democracy.
Select a song and its chord progression appears as gold badges directly above the Hebrew davening text. Edit the chord positions to match exactly how you sing it.
Complete Hallel text in Hebrew with full nikud, rendered in Frank Ruhl Libre. Scroll through the davening the way you'd scroll through a siddur — but with chords.
NiggunMap exists because the Jewish guitar chord sites went dark, the WhatsApp chord sheets are buried in group chats, and no one has mapped which songs actually fit which sections of which tefillah. This isn't an academic database or a subscription course. It's the practical, free, community-driven resource that should have existed 10 years ago.
Every song mapping and vote comes from real musicians and baalei tefillah. No editorial board decides what's "correct." The community ranks what works, and the rankings speak for themselves.
NiggunMap answers "what should I sing at Hodu on Rosh Chodesh?" with actual songs, actual chords, in actual keys. Not a musicology lecture. Not a subscription paywall.
No subscription. No paywall. No premium tier that locks the good songs behind a credit card. The chords, the mappings, the voting — it's all free. If you want to contribute, create an account and start mapping.
The Hallel module is live now with all 6 chapters fully mapped and editable. Kabbalat Shabbat, Shabbat Shacharit, wedding ceremonies, and the rest of the siddur are coming next.
